What is EmailFunnelAI?
EmailFunnelAI is an AI-assisted platform for building and running lifecycle email funnels. You describe the outcome you want — onboarding, trial activation, cart recovery, re-engagement — and the platform helps you generate the sequence, wire up the triggers, and send it through your own email provider.
It is built for SaaS and creator teams who want connected lifecycle funnels without stitching together a separate ESP, automation tool, and copywriter.
The core concepts
A few building blocks show up throughout these docs:
- Funnels — an ordered sequence of emails with delays and conditions between them. This is the automation that runs against your contacts.
- Email providers — the service that actually delivers your mail (Postmark, Amazon SES, Brevo, Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, EmailIt, or plain SMTP). You connect at least one.
- Sending domains — your own domain, verified with the provider, so mail is sent from
you@yourdomain.comwith proper SPF/DKIM. - Contacts and segments — the people you email, and the saved filters that decide who enters a funnel.
- AI generation — draft entire funnels, individual emails, and subject lines from a short brief.
