Why a provider matters
EmailFunnelAI does not run its own mail servers for your sending — it delivers through a provider you connect. This keeps you in control of your sender reputation, your sending limits, and your data.
Supported providers
You can connect any of the following:
- Postmark — fast transactional and broadcast delivery with per-server reputation.
- Amazon SES — high volume at low cost, ideal for scaling senders.
- Brevo, Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, EmailIt — popular ESPs, each connected with an API key.
- SMTP — any standards-compliant mail host, using host, port, and credentials.
Connecting a provider
- Open Settings → Email.
- Choose a provider and enter its credentials (API key, or SMTP host and login).
- Save. The platform validates the connection before marking it active.
Only one provider is active at a time for a team. Switching the active provider changes which service future sends route through.
Platform default vs. your own keys
If you are just getting started, the platform default lets you send without any setup. When you are ready for full control — your own reputation, limits, and domain verification — switch to bring your own keys.
What each provider unlocks
Domain verification, webhooks, and reputation tracking differ by provider. Providers with a domain API (Postmark, SES, Brevo, and similar) support managed sending domains. SMTP does not offer a domain API, so you manage DNS authentication yourself.
